STUDENTS:

Spring term classes begin on Monday, April 2, 2012. You will have access to the spring term online classes in which you are registered at 8:00 AM Pacific Time on April 2, 2012.
 

BROWSER CHECK:
All Blackboard CE users are advised to perform the Check Browser process before attempting to login the first time. This will ensure your browser is best configured for Blackboard CE operation. Click the "Check Browser" button below and complete the process on each computer you use to access Blackboard CE. Repeat after any operating system and/or Java updates.
 

PASSWORDS:
Login to Blackboard CE using the same user name and password that you use for your OIT email login.
 

HELP:
If you need assistance with your Blackboard CE ID or password, please email helpdesk@oit.edu or call ITS Helpdesk at (541) 885-1470, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time. The Helpdesk staff will need your first name, last name, and student ID (not your Social Security Number). Please specify that you are attempting to login to Blackboard CE.
 

MAINTENANCE:
From time-to-time system software and Windows updates need to be loaded on the Blackboard CE server.  ITS will attempt to schedule system updates on Wednesday mornings between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Pacific Time to minimize the effects of any possible downtime for Blackboard CE users.  Faculty should avoid development and students should avoid test taking and assignment submission around this time frame.
